Top 10 Favorite Mac Shadows

Hi loveys! So as you can see from the title, this post is going to be about my Top Ten Favorite Mac Eyeshadows. This is such a hard choice to make! And I just want to throw it out there that this is my top ten of right now. It could totally change at any moment, so if it does I'll be sure to post an update. Below is a picture of all of my current favorites.

I keep all of my Mac eyeshadow in an Inglot Freedom System Palette, (you can view it here: Inglot Freedom System 10 Eye Shadow Round Palette). Unfortunately, I was just on the Inglot USA site and it looks like the round eye shadow palettes are no longer available through their webpage, but I'm sure if you look around you might be able to find one. I also have the 5 Eyeshadow Round and the 20 Eyeshadow Round Inglot Palettes, and I love them, I have put Mac, NYX and Urban Decay shadows in them and they all fit great! I want to note that I did, for a small period of time use the new Mac Pro Palette, and I was not a fan. I had the double sided one with one eyeshadow insert and one blush insert and it was just way too bulky. It didn't fit anywhere.

Anyway, sorry to go off on a tangent! Without further ado, here are my faves:

Sorry if the image quality is weird, still trying to learn how to take the best photos ;)

Top row from L-R: Vanilla, Orb, Bamboo, Soft Brown, Quarry
Bottom row from L-R: Copperplate, Patina, Antiqued, Sketch, Carbon

The ones I use most often are definitely all 5 in top row, along with Patina and Carbon. I also love Antiqued and Sketch in the fall. I use Copperplate fairly often as well, its an awesome crease color.

Lately my go-to has been Orb all over the lid with Vanilla in the inner corner. Then I blend Patina into the outer half of my lid and my crease. If it is nighttime and I am going out, I'll also blend Antiqued, Sketch or Carbon into my outer corner and the outer half of my crease. I've been loving winged eyeliner lately, so I'll usually add a cat-eye and some mascara.

All of my Mac eyeshadows are a dream to work with, and I highly recommend them. I have used a ton of different high-end eyeshadows and bought all sorts of palettes, and Mac is definitely my favorite. The shadows all blend flawlessly, and I just love the customization options. When I buy pre-made palettes I usually end up only liking half of the colors, and with Mac I can choose my own palette so that I only buy colors I love.

Sorry for rambling, hope you enjoyed my post! If you want me to do a further review on each color individually let me know. ;)
